CDOG' daughter, Vedder , grand daughter, Mako on the road again

and I headed up to the Muskoka & District Kennel Club for their Rally trials. We haven’t trialled in over a

year and I was pretty happy with her! She got 2 legs of Advanced (both scores of 95) and 1 leg of Intermediate (85) under judge Lorraine Purnell (apparently she had to potty, and sitting isn’t fun when you have to . Mako did not appreciate the downpour we had much of the day today ).

Vedder headed to the Victoria County shows with Mary-Ellen and Audrey and took a spin around the ring, earning Select for 2 more Bronze points and winning Best Veteran in Breed under judge Sylvia Barkey.

We finished the day with a nice dinner out with Julia and Jeff where I got a pretty purple drink (yes I got it because it was purple )

Another long day up at the Rally trials but successful! After a bit of an Oof for our first intermediate run, we came back strong and Mako finished her Rally Advanced with a 95! She then turned around and ran her little tail off to get a 97, 2nd in class and finished her Rally Intermediate title! 2 titles in one weekend 5 Qs. (Pending CKC confirmation).

In conformation news, Vedder got Best of Opposite to her son Marlowe for 2 more Bronze points. Her granddaughter Edith picked up BOW for 2 points as well to make it a family affair! Huge thanks to Audrey for showing her today and to Mary-Ellen for ferrying her back and forth.
